Tips for Completing Battlefield 3 - Basic Missions # 075
The crossing of the Seine is one of the two maps located in Paris. This is a large, densely built-up map, divided into two parts by the River Seine. It is focused on infantry combat, so apart from a few ground vehicles, there are no cars here. Like the Grand Bazaar, there are also many narrow streets, alleys, and narrow tunnels that are suitable for short- and medium-range combat. Snipers will also find something for themselves, but mostly in the area of bridges crossing the river and wider streets. Crossing the Seine offers players staircases and apartment interiors.
Poor lighting in the rooms and on the stairs means that they often become a habitat for fighters who hunt carelessly running through the streets. The upper floors of the houses are almost completely darkened, perfectly hiding the shooters, they usually offer the smallest field of view. The walls of all the buildings you can enter are destructible, so you can use explosives to make it a little more difficult for enemies to fire from convenient positions.
Operation Desert Storm;
Operation Desert Storm is in many ways the sandy equivalent of the Caspian border. It's almost as huge and offers excellent air space. The main difference is the greater number and complexity of buildings, which makes it easier for infantry to take control points. Desert Storm offers a wide range of vehicles and opportunities to use them effectively. As in the case of the Caspian, any weapon, short-range or long-range, will be used here. Snipers have excellent visibility on almost the entire map, and supporters of face-to-face combat can stick to dense buildings of oil refineries and warehouses.
The map is divided by a wide street, which allows armored vehicles to move quickly between checkpoints, while simultaneously being a trap for careless drivers, because they are easy to track and immobilize. There are two construction sites on the map, which gives infantry the opportunity to use shooting positions, and snipers to climb cranes from which you can see the entire battlefield. Desert Storm checkpoints are relatively difficult to maintain, as the location of the map allows them to be attacked from almost any direction, from the ground and from the air.
Just like on the border with the Caspian Sea, Desert Storm offers one hard-to-reach point, very convenient for good snipers. This is an oil refinery pipe located in the center of the map. To get to it, you need to jump from the aircraft and land on a parachute. transescort.org
